Niagara Wedding Magazine Shoot

For the Spring/ Summer addition of the Wedding Niagara Magazine, I had the chance to shoot some pretty nice shoes from local vendors from The Boot Shop, Marilee's Bridal and The Shoe Company. Working with Lori  from the magazine was great and I look forward to more of my working showing up in their magazines. Be sure to pick up a copy of this addition, it is full of great ideas from local vendors.

The wedding of Chrsty & Dan

After a bit of a wet start to this fine October Saturday, the wedding of Christy & Dan Muir was a ton of fun. Steven and I had a lot of fun with the entire wedding party! Here are some of the shots.

Janie & Ray's Engagement Session

So tonight I had the chance to hang out with Janie & Ray, two people that have hearts of gold. The winners of the Wish upon a wedding contest put on by weddinggirl.ca, we ventured off on the most perfect night you could ask for. Heading down to downtown Niagara Falls we had the chance to capture two people madly in love with one another. Engagement session are great, it gives us some time together to get to know one another and you find out things about people that just touch your heart. Janie & Ray met in high school and have been trying ever since to finally tie the knot, well their dream came true, on November 29th, 2009 they are going to be getting married. Life throws everyone curves and the bigger the curve the stronger the people and the relationships you have, as we were talking they comment on how excited they were to have the chance to have professional portraits done. Not very long ago Janie & Ray were on a vacation and after a great trip they came home to a basement full of water and all their family photos were destroyed. Yesterday started their new chapter of capture the family photos that can't be replaced.

I look forward to capturing and sharing with all of you the rest of their photo journey from here on out, you are clients for life and very special people, thank you for making the photos below so easy :)

July Wedding

On a day that called for 60% chance of rain for an outdoor wedding it didn't look good...at least on TV, I woke up to a picture perfect day blue clouds fluffy white cloudsd filled the sky. The back yard ceremony set along the banks of Martindale pond made for some great place to take photos. Here are some from the day of Amber & Scott's wedding.

The first photo is the golden rule of marriage!

May 24th Wedding

Well I have to say, this was such a great wedding, from shots with the guys at 8:45AM to the drinks on the bus and the final shots at the end of the night with Michelle & Peter and every thing in between. Both Rick and I got in the car to come home after and said WOW that was so much fun, even know it was a long day.

I love being the 2nd shooter for weddings, you get to be the fun shots that happen behind the bride and groom, or when everyone is busy doing other things you get "THAT" moment.

Michelle and Peter congratulations and thank you for having us on your beautiful wedding day.

OH and goo luck!! on picking the photos.
